Louan Gideon will easily share with you that the most important things in her life are spiritual growth and study, quality family time, creativity in arts and music and enjoying a healthy lifestyle. “I have yet to find a place that supports me in these particular principles better than Western North Carolina. Add the incredible beauty, exceptional restaurants and vast array of outdoor activities and you have my idea of the perfect place to live.”
Upon graduating from Baylor University, the native Texan moved to Dallas and spent the better part of three years traveling the world on business. She ultimately landed in Manhattan and over the next four years worked steadily as a television actress as well as enjoying a sideline as a Master of Ceremonies for several Fortune 500 Corporate events across the U.S.
Following that, Gideon moved to Beverly Hills where she continued her work in the entertainment industry for 16 years. In 2003 she joined the Sunset Strip office of Coldwell Banker and brokered high-end Westside real estate including the areas of West Hollywood, the Hollywood Hills, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Bel Air, Pacific Palisades and Malibu.
Since relocating her real estate practice to Asheville in 2006, she joined Keller Williams and decided to focus on Asheville and the surrounding areas’ luxury market.
“This area has a large amount of what one would usually consider ‘traditional luxury,’ in its magnificent homes, fine dining, elegant goods and services. But there’s also a great deal of what I like to call ‘heart luxury,’ being those extra pleasures or comforts you can enjoy here that you wouldn’t necessarily find or take time for elsewhere. To me, those are some of the best luxuries of all.”
